A commercial property let to tenants was damaged in a storm. The property owner lived a considerable distance from the property and was unable to manage the situation. We attended the site to take details of the circumstances from the tenant, we reported the matter to insurers and met with loss adjusters and the client’s nominated contractor on site to agree the repair programme. We checked the repairs were completed and oversaw the payment of the contactor’s invoice. Although the property owner was kept informed of progress, at no stage were they significantly inconvenienced by the situation.
